The driver of the vehicle exited IH 10 at Ozona\, to elude Law Enforcement officials who were in pursuit. He was traveling at a speed in excess of 100 mph when he struck the Tambungas who were crossing an intersection at a green light. Both Emilia and her grandmother were killed upon impact. Emilia’s mother\, Elisa\, also trained with us in her youth\, and has wholeheartedly endorsed our Memorial Tournament this summer. Elisa plans to attend our Training Tournament. Subsequent Memorial Tournaments will be held closer to Emilia’s and her grandmother’s death anniversary.
